- The service is provided as-is, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for how you use the output.
- You can stop using Colette AI and delete your account at any time.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Colette AI, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using Colette AI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use Colette AI.
2. What Colette AI is
Colette AI is an assistant that holds conversations, generates text and images, produces documents and audio, offers small games, and can carry out actions on other accounts you choose to connect. It is a creative and productivity tool — it is not a professional adviser.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Colette AI to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property rights;
- create or spread malware, phishing content, or material that sexualises minors;
- harass, threaten, defame or impersonate another person;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, to another user's account or data, or to the systems behind it;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the service, or use it in a way that degrades it for others;
- use automated means to access the service other than through interfaces we provide;
- use a connected third-party account in a way that breaches that provider's own terms — for example sending bulk unsolicited mail through a connected Google account;
- resell or rebrand the service, or present its output as professional legal, medical, financial or safety advice.
We may remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload. To operate the service, you give us a limited licence to store, process, transmit and display that content — for example saving a conversation, sending a prompt to the model, or exporting a document you asked for. That licence is limited to running and improving Colette AI for you, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must retain something to comply with the law.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload anything you send, and that your use of content generated through a connected account is permitted.
6. AI output
Colette AI can be wrong. Its output is generated by a machine-learning model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or simply made up. It may also change between identical requests.
Do not rely on it as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. Always check anything important against a reliable source before acting on it.
You are responsible for what you do with the output, including anything you send, publish, or act on. Depending on your jurisdiction and the tool used, generated content may not attract copyright protection; we make no promise about its legal status or originality.
7. Connected accounts and third-party services
Colette AI can connect to services such as Google, Slack, GitHub and others. When you connect one:
- you authorise us to access it on your behalf, for the actions you ask for, for as long as the connection remains;
- your use of that service is still governed by its own terms and privacy policy;
- you can disconnect it at any time in Settings, or revoke access from the provider; and
- if the provider changes or withdraws its interface, that integration may stop working.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their acts and omissions.
8. Availability, changes, and cost
Colette AI is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or because of factors outside our control. We may add, alter or remove features at any time.
Colette AI is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you clearly before you are charged, and you will be free to decline.
9. Ending your access
You may stop using Colette AI at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve what you need.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colette AI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of Colette AI or from the output it produces.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Colette AI after a change means you accept the updated terms.
